AMERICAN EXPRESS IS HORRIBLE!!

I am extremely disgusted with everything about amex. I have been a longtime customer, 10 + years and in the last year I have experienced the worse service of any of my creditors. Amex continues to use all the excuses in the book and they are taking advantage of the economic conditions and taking it out on their loyal, CURRENT customers and I am sick of it.

I called on December 13th to pay a bill in FULL so I was able to continue to make charges but the lady would not accept payment for a long list of reasons. Where is the logic in that? Had Amex not reduced my credit line for whatever ridiculous reason, I would not have had this problem in the first place. I am receiving the same if not worse treatment from AMEX with my business account as well and I AM SOOO PLEASED to say I have recently received my new Chase Ink Bold cards that are competing with the Amex line of cards and I hope everyone in the country soon switches. I am paying all my Amex cards off this month and NEVER using them again. I can't wait until the economy recovers and everyone begins spending as they did in the past to find that the majority of the users have switched to the Ink Bold Card. Learn how to treat your loyal customers Amex and maybe think twice before taking other peoples defaults out on your current/good standing customers!!
