Platinum is just a color. For years I have had a card in all green, gold, Platinum. The privilege you pay for from American Express....to be lied to and humiliated when you are told you can use your card and then you can not.. They lower your credit, which bangs your real credit that matters, report to the bureaus as if you are spending to your limit.

Not in one way but most always 2 w/ sign and travel as a second card on each card you may have with them. Paying them early and on time gives you nothing as I have found for over 30 yrs. And you pay for membership (you can not go elsewhere as they mess up your credit) So this card you pay for $350+ the others, if you carry more is only good for scraping your windshield. Because in violation for a class act suit, as I hope to see if there is one we could all win, ALL CARD BENEIFITS are revoked, no paying with REWARDS points, no deleting a dispute and not having to still pay for it while you wait it to be settled, no buying any form of travelers checks for $100.00 if you even had to in a pinch. I disputed an item and what good does it do? I have to wait for 2 months or pay for it anyway because they will not allow my credit back on my card. They need to be sued for violations of the taking money for their card member agreements that they change every other week for the grandfathered cardholders they persecute!
