I HAVE BEEN AN AMEX CUSTOMER SINCE 1992 AND WENT TO EAT AT A RESTAURANT TO FIND OUT THE ACCOUNT HAS BEEN SHUT DOWN AT THE DINNER TABLE WITH A GROUP OF 6 PEOPLE WHEN THE SERVER CAME BACK TO TELL ME ITS DECLINED. I MAKE 6 FIGURE SALARY AND YES I WAS LATE BUT NEVER, EVER, EVER OVER 30 DAYS. NO MORTGAGES PAYMENTS LATE NO CAR PAYMENTS NO BANKRUPTCY, NO HIGH CREDIT CARD BALANCES JUST A SO SO CREDIT SCORE AND THIS IS WHAT I GET THINKING THAT AMEX IS A COMPANY THAT STANDS BY THE CUSTOMER.
