You can't trus American Express. - Blue for business

By: badenpaperboy

I was a American Express Blue customer for about 7 years. Until yesterday. I started to see some charges that I couldn't trace and never have received. I called those companies and told them too cease charging me and they agreed. I then called AMEX and wanted to tell them not to allow any charge from these specific companies.

The csr, seemed intent upon telling me my account was changed. Oct.19, 2009. They had reduced my credit effective Oct. 18, 2009 from 4200.00 to 3200.00. We have never been late. Payed it off in May and continued to use it pretty regularly. Always paying 4 to five times the minimum payment. I had just purchased a window for 182.00 and a charge from Video professor for 189.95 pushed my account up over 3200.00 Date of the charge from Video professor Oct. 18, 2009. I received no notice that they cut my credit line and I wouldn't have if I didn't call for something totally unrelated. The CSR told me my experian report had a collection on it. So I checked out my credit report with Experian. In 2005 a hospital turned a bill over to collection to OSI, for 134.00 We paid that within one month! Amex checked our credit numerous times between those dates. We have always been on time. My credit report score is over 700.Bottom line- you can't trust AM EX. I paid the bill off and canceled this card. Please fellow small business owners be careful when using this company.
